Answers about alpha access, privacy, billing, and how Auto TD works inside Blender. For setup steps, see the help guide.
Auto TD is a Blender add-on with a custom in-viewport UI: multi-chat projects, quickchat for fast commands, and a review step before AI-generated scripts run on your scene. The goal is to move from intent to execution without leaving Blender or pasting into a separate chat tab.
We target current Blender LTS and recent stable releases used by alpha testers. Exact minimum versions are listed in your alpha download notes and may change between releases. If install fails, check that your Blender build matches the add-on package you received.
Yes for sign-in, agent requests, and subscription features. Blender runs locally; Auto TD sends prompts and tool context to our servers to run the agent stack. Scene files stay on your machine unless you explicitly share content through support channels.
The waitlist on the home page is for launch updates and early access news. The V0.1 alpha is a separate, limited early-access program (license via Gumroad) with a private Discord and direct product feedback. You can join the waitlist without buying alpha access. The /releases page lists what V0.1 includes today versus the longer roadmap.
We process the context needed for each agent request (selection, mode, relevant scene metadata, and conversation history per project). We do not host your .blend files as cloud storage. See our Privacy Policy for categories of data we collect and how to contact us about deletion.
The product is built around review-before-execute: generated Python is shown in the inbox-style flow so you can approve or discard before it touches your mesh. Quickchat handles small, allowlisted actions; heavier work escalates to the full agent with the same review model.
Hobbyist is free with limited agent usage. Paid tiers (Pro, Team, Studio) raise limits and tool access; usage is tracked as credits on your dashboard. Exact monthly allowances and tool lists are on the pricing page and may change as we leave alpha. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe when checkout is enabled for your account.
Alpha purchases through Gumroad follow Gumroad’s refund policy for that product page. Paid subscriptions through autotd.io follow the terms described in our Terms of Service. Email info@autotd.io if you are unsure which path applies to your purchase.
No. Auto TD is an independent product. Blender is a registered trademark of the Blender Foundation.
