Get the add-on

Alpha access is distributed through Gumroad. After purchase you receive a download and setup notes for the build that matches your seat.

Install like any Blender add-on: open Preferences → Add-ons → Install, choose the package you downloaded, then enable Auto TD in the list.

• Use the Blender version specified in your alpha notes.
• Restart Blender if the panel does not appear after enabling.

Sign in from Blender

Auto TD uses your autotd.io account. You do not paste API keys into the add-on for normal use.

1. Open the Auto TD panel or add-on preferences in Blender.
2. Choose Sign in with browser (wording may vary slightly by build).
3. Your browser opens to autotd.io — sign in or create an account if prompted.
4. Approve the connection on the Connect Blender page, then return to Blender.
5. The panel should show you as signed in; agent features unlock according to your plan.

Account dashboard

Visit Dashboard → Account on autotd.io to see the email on your account and short instructions for linking Blender.

Dashboard → Usage shows remaining credits and, when available, upgrade to a paid plan via Stripe Checkout.

• Sign out from the dashboard if you need to switch accounts before reconnecting Blender.
• Use the same email you used at checkout or waitlist signup when possible.

Projects and chat

Work is organized by project: multiple chats can belong to one project so context stays scoped to what you are building.

Quickchat is for fast, in-viewport commands with a small set of immediate tools. When the task needs full context or scripting, the flow escalates to the main agent and inbox review.

• Read generated scripts in the inbox before approving execution.
• Use project boundaries when switching shots or assets so the agent does not mix unrelated context.

Troubleshooting

Most connection issues are fixed by requesting a fresh sign-in link from Blender and completing approval in the browser while logged into the correct account.

• Invalid or expired activation link: start Sign in with browser again from Blender — do not reuse an old tab.
• Signed in on the web but Blender still offline: sign out on the dashboard, then sign in again from the add-on.
• Credits show zero unexpectedly: confirm you are on Dashboard → Usage with the same account email; refresh after a new subscription.
• Still stuck: email info@autotd.io with your account email, Blender version, and a short description of what you clicked.
